This track is a sonic translation of the provided graphic score, which I found surprisingly inspiring. I began by setting an atmospheric foundation using an egg-frying ASMR sample, reflecting the organic shape in the top right. The visual contrast between the solid black star and the hollow ones was translated into a punchy 808 kick paired with a bright, shimmering synth sequencer. Structural markers like the diagonal and right-facing arrows were interpreted as a reverse cymbal and a hi-hat rise, respectively, to signal transitions. A menacing, 'war trumpet' low riser warns the listener of the watchful eye on the right. The central oscillating line, which transitions from grainy to solid, is represented by a sidechained sub-bass marking the offbeats. For the core groove, I used a minimalist distorted synthetic guitar.
